What we store

Your account (name, email, and the sign-in provider you chose) and what you log in Rindabout: tastings, ratings, notes, your Want to Try list, stamps, achievements, preferences, and cheeses you add yourself, including their photos.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist on our website we store your email address, when you joined and your approximate country (from your connection, not your location). We use it only to tell you when Rindabout launches. Email support@rindabout.ca to be removed.

Who can see it

Only you. Your notes are private. If you choose “Suggest it for everyone” on a cheese you added, we receive its name, country, milk, style, the flavours and textures you selected, your rating and its photo so we can review it for the shared catalog. Your private notes are never sent with a suggestion.

Where it’s stored

On Cloudflare’s infrastructure (database and photo storage). We don’t sell your data or show ads.

Your controls

In the app, Settings → Your data lets you export everything as JSON or permanently delete your account and all of its data, including photos. Cheeses already approved into the shared catalog remain in the catalog without any link to you.
